About Us
stART,a part of the Artizen initiative, focuses on the concept of ‘help me help you’.
Using art as a creative form of expression, we strive to provide a fun environment for your creative catharsis. At stART, we see the ‘I’ in illness as a ‘WE’, to make it wellness. Using this out of the box thinking as our mantra we encourage our participants to think about what they feeling? Why they are feeling? and artistically vent ourselves away!
Through its interactive programs for children and wellness programs for adults, stART aims to help participants learn, express, explore, cope and most importantly connect with others through an artistic and productive form.
After all Albert Einstein, the man with an IQ of 160 said, “Art is the expression of the profoundest thoughts in the simplest of ways!”
About Me
Hi! Normally on an 'About me' page, I one would expect me to ramble on about my achievements, but I think I’ll spare you all with the details. Don’t get me wrong, my inner narcissism loves the spotlight, but this initiative isn’t about me. It’s about ‘us’. Nevertheless, a brief introduction of me -
I’m Jiya Gupta, a student currently studying in Grade 12 of The Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai. I’m creative, artistically inclined, an excellent listener, and by popular opinion have a good shoulder to lean on. Combining my wide spectrum of interests and the valuable help of my peers all over the country, I started two art based initiatives - ARTizen and stART – The Creative Catharsis.
